The West Midlands region covers the western half of the area traditionally known as the Midlands. The region consists of the counties of Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, West Midlands and Worcestershire. The region has seven cities; Birmingham, Coventry, Hereford, Lichfield, Stoke-on-Trent, Wolverhampton and Worcester.

1 HEREFORDSHIRE

Ledbury Walks Company
Two guided walks around Ledbury are available. The first is The Historic Walk, a fascinating walking tour taking you through the history of the town from its Anglo Saxon origins. The second is the more lighthearted evening tour
Ledbury Ghost Walk
Ledbury Ghost Walk Ledbury is a medieval market town in Herefordshire dating back to the 12th century.
The supernatural is imbued into the walls of the black and white timber-framed buildings that provide a spectacular backdrop to this spine chilling and entertaining walk.
Your spooky guide will take you to a variety of haunted places, each one with its tale of battle, murder or mysterious death which has left its ghostly imprint.

2 SHROPSHIRE

Shropshire Museums 
Shrewsbury is one of the most haunted towns in England, and a spooky guided walk is the ideal way to learn more about its dark underbelly! These tours are very popular and typically run throughout October and November on selected dates.

Established in June 2002 Stratford Town Walk was under way. A team of guides now provide the highly acclaimed, multi, award-winning Town Walk, every day of the year, even Christmas Day!

Tudor World
Tudor World, a living history museum is situated right in the centre of the beautiful Town of Stratford upon Avon, just metres from the world famous RSC, and set within an historic 16th century grade 2* building.
Ghost Tour

Tudor World Virtual Ghost Tour (smartphone required)

Once the museum is closed and the lights switched off, ghost tours take place within the historic building every evening, guided only by lantern light. There are no 'tricks' on the tours as such, but it is within a very old and reputedly haunted building. The costumed tour guides will lead you through the museum by lantern light relating the stories of the sightings of apparitions, how objects move by themselves, jewellery goes missing and strange sounds can be heard - made by unseen hands!

The Commandery 
The Commandery is a beautiful building and garden in Sidbury Worcester, where you can encounter the past brought to life…Set in the heart of historic Worcester, The Commandery is most famous for being the Royalist Headquarters during the deciding battle of the English Civil War – the Battle of Worcester 1651.
After Dark Tours

The Historic Ghost Walk of Worcester will lead you through gates normally locked and doors usually bolted to learn of ghostly experiences and historical facts in a fascinating tour of one of the most haunted and historical cities in Britain. With entry to some of Worcester's most iconic buildings, and an entertaining guide. Scheduled walks take place on Wednesday nights from September to April. Private bookings also available
